London's most thorough buggy access dataset.
Buggy Smart is a free tool for London parents. An AI voice agent called Poppy calls cafes, restaurants, and venues and asks one question: can a pushchair get through your front door? The answers go on a live map. No one presses a button.
Every parent with a pushchair knows the feeling. You arrive somewhere, negotiate a step, squeeze past tables, and realise there's nowhere to park the pram. Or worse: you can't get in at all.
Google Maps doesn't tell you this. Yelp doesn't tell you this. The venue's website doesn't mention it. The only way to know is to phone ahead or show up and hope.
So we built something that phones ahead for you.
Poppy, our AI voice agent, calls each venue by phone, introduces herself, and asks about pushchair access. The whole call takes 30 to 60 seconds.
Every conversation is transcribed and analysed by AI. Each venue is classified as buggy-friendly, tight squeeze, or not accessible, based on what they actually said.
Venues with clear answers appear on a free, interactive map with their rating, the best quote from the call, and a link to directions.
Calls run automatically every weekday. The map grows every day without anyone pressing a button.
Buggy Smart runs on a fully autonomous pipeline:
The entire system runs hands-free: calls are made, transcripts are classified, venues are matched, and the map is updated, all without human intervention.
Buggy Smart was built by Mike Litman – a London dad who got tired of rocking up at cafes with a pushchair and being turned away at the door. Nobody had the data. Google Maps doesn't ask. TripAdvisor doesn't ask. So he built an AI to call ahead. Every venue. Every day.
