Brixton is solidly pram-friendly. 32 out of 41 venues we called said yes. A few had conditions. Most didn't.
"No, sorry."
"yes, we are, we are children and pram-friendly"
"Yeah, we are."
"We are, yes, but we're drink led, so it depends on the time of day."
"Oh, we are, yes."
"Yes, you are. We are."
"Um, yes, we are."
"Yeah, we are."
"We are baby and pram friendly, yes."
"Yes, of course."
"Yes, we are."
"Yes, dear, dear."
"Um, yes, of course."
"Yeah, sure"
"Brooke is baby and pram friendly. She didn't even notice that yet."
"We do run baby-friendly screenings, um, in which case the prams would have to be parked outside in a designated space. They can't be taken into the screen, um, but there's usually a designated pram..."
"Yes, yes, but I'm saying, do you know you want to come today or...?"
"We sure are."
"we usually have space to store them. Uh, not all the tables fit prams next to them, but there's usually space up the front or, um, to tuck them away"
"Yes, absolutely, yeah."
"We do kind of have a lot of stairs, um, so if you've got someone to help you with the buggy if it's heavy."
"It depends what time and what day though. After-- On the weekends, after about eight o'clock, it gets too busy really."
"it probably depends on the event, but in generally, I guess no. But we're not unfriendly, it's just-- I think it's-- I'm not sure it's the right environment, you know?"
"No. No. We're not baby and pram friendly."
"No, sorry."
"No, I'm afraid not. This is a nightclub."
Not every call goes well. These venues said no — some more memorably than others.
