Hackney is solidly pram-friendly. 69 out of 89 venues we called said yes. A few had conditions. Most didn't.
"No, ma'am."
"you can get the pram through the door, yeah"
"Yeah, yeah, you can come. No problem. Yeah."
"Oh, yeah, of course. Yeah."
"yes, absolutely"
"Yeah, I think it's fine."
"we've got high chairs and everything here"
"Yes, we are. Um, prams, when it comes to booking, uh, if you just make us aware that you have a pram, just so you'll be seated on a table that can accommodate that. Uh, but it shouldn't be a problem."
"yes, we are. We don't have the baby changing facility, unfortunately, 'cause our space is a bit small. But I think often we have babies with, um, ladies with babies, so we are fine."
"we do allow children, yeah"
"we're pram and baby friendly up until that point"
"we are pram friendly"
"We are, yes."
"Yeah. I think all our venues are."
"Yes, we are. So we have usually-- we have some space outside, but if, um, if it's raining or something, we have the top table that we can just move some chair. We can put the pram in"
"Yes, we are."
"Yes, of course we are. There's a button on the outside you can press and we'll come and help you. Just two little steps, but there's a buzzer. And there's a changing area for the baby, and plenty o..."
"Oh brilliant, thanks so much!"
"Yes, we are."
"Yes, we can definitely accommodate prams. We have high chairs available and we'll help you get your pram situated where space allows."
"We are, yes."
"If we're doing a baby screening, um, then we allow people to leave their prams in the, the foyer area. But if it's just a regular film, then the baby's going to attend if it's a PG or a U film, and..."
"Of course, we are."
"You can definitely get the pram through the door. Absolutely, yes."
"Yeah, yeah, you can."
"Yeah, very much so."
"We've got baby, little baby stools and stuff as well, yeah."
"Uh, yeah, absolutely."
"We are indeed, yes. We've got high chairs as well."
"No, you can put inside."
"We are, yes."
"I am, I am top boy"
"Oh brilliant, thanks so much!"
"We are."
"If she's at London Fields, we have more space. We have space for prams. We have two high chairs."
"Yeah, yeah."
"We are. We have, um, a lift and everything and a ramp to get into the venue"
"pram-friendly, yes. Yeah, of course."
"Yes, of course."
"yes, until seven o'clock"
"Yeah, of course you can."
"Yeah, of course you can."
"Yeah, of course. We are."
"Yeah, but you know, we don't have sitting places, just, you know, shop, you can just order and go"
"Oh, yes."
"Yes, we are"
"Yes, until six PM"
"yes, but we aren't allowed any kids under eighteen after seven PM"
"Oh brilliant"
"Till seven o'clock"
"Yes, you can. But there's no babies after a certain time, just to let you know."
"Yeah, we are. Regular pram friendly? Yeah."
"Yeah, yeah, sure."
"We are."
"Yeah, of course."
"We are, we are about that. Only on weekends, no, because we are so busy. During the week it's okay."
"for our postnatal classes, we are for babies that, um, can't crawl yet. Um, but that's the only class that we are, um, that you can bring your baby in a pram"
"we are, but we don't have, like, high chairs. Um, and we generally would request that if you have a pram, it could be folded up."
"the pram will be stored in a separate space just to stop the pugs from weeing on it"
"we're only open on the weekends, and you can only sit outside, but there is space, uh, for prams outside of the tables"
"we seat you possibly slightly closer to, like, our front area of the restaurant. Um, we just have certain spaces in certain areas."
"you can fold it in the corner, but we don't have any high chairs, and we don't allow pushchairs into the shop, only because it's a health and safety hazard"
"through, like, a busy weekend night, um, might not always have space for a pram, but if you leave a note in the reservation, um, especially if it's through the week, we will pretty much always have..."
"a bit of a squeeze but doable"
"I wouldn't recommend it at very busy times, but yeah, for sure."
"The pram can't go to the museum, but you can leave the pram upstairs and carry the baby downstairs. The ground floor is where the bar area is. There's one step up, but it's easy to get in with a pram."
"we don't actually have any space for prams in the venue. It's quite a small space... we might be able to store the pram somewhere in the venue... there's not actually any space for prams in the spa..."
"No, I hate them."
"We are an over eighteens only venue and operate a challenge twenty-five policy."
"No, ma'am."
"No. Thank you for calling."
"We are, um, over eighteens only."
"No, we are adult only pub, I'm afraid."
Not every call goes well. These venues said no — some more memorably than others.
